Photo stitch - beach shot

This is my first shot at using Canon's Photo Stitch software that came bundled with my camera. Not sure if 4 poses in one shot is the norm, as I know that "odd" numbers generally lay out better. This one just felt better with all four poses. I tried to blur the seams as best as possible with Canon's software (PStitch and DPP). Any help/suggestions on layout of the composite, other editing software to do it better...I'm all ears. Appreciate any and all feedback.

I think it's a great idea, but the 2nd and 3rd poses are very similar. I think it needs a little more diversity. Other than that, I love it.

I've heard groups 3's and 5's are better, artistically.

Very cute! I'm not bothered by the similarity of #2 and #3 because her arms are swinging opposite, her eyes are looking in a different direction, and her knee is up in #3. She really looks like she is running towards me. I would normally agree with having a group of three or five, but I happen to love this one just as it is.

Is this how photos are done (for example) of how photos can show all of the motions of a baseball pitcher in one photo? Is there a name for that process?
