Hello,
I typically use Adobe Elements Organizer (PC, version 8) to upload photos to my SmugMug account. However, as of this morning, I cannot create a new gallery.
Here are the steps I use:
1. Select the photos I want to upload
2. Click "Share"
3. Click "More Options"
4. Click "Send to SmugMug Gallery"
5. I see a Dialog box that reads, "Elements Organizer: Preparing files"
6. In the "Send to SmugMug Gallery" dialog box, I click "Create Gallery"
7. On the next screen in that dialog ("create a new photo gallery"), I fill out the Title ("Charlie's Third Birthday), Category ("Children"), and Theme ("Default").
8. I click the "Public: No" radio button
Now, if I try to click the "Create Gallery" button, NOTHING HAPPENS. Nada - no error message, no status message, no indication at all that anything is working, or attempting to upload, or communicate with SmugMug.
If I try to click the "Back" button - again, nothing happens. It's like both buttons are broken.
I can, however, click the "done" link, or the "X" button in the upper right corner, which closes the dialog box (and results in no gallery being created).
It's a total dead-end.
Some more information...
1. This process worked as recently as yesterday; prior to that, I'd created many galleries successfully with exactly this process.
2. Yesterday, my MacAfee Security Center (anti-virus/firewall) software updated itself. I don't know if this is related, but the timing is suspicious.
3. I'm using a Dell laptop with Windows 7
This could be an issue with Adobe Photoshop, MacAfee, or who-knows-what, but ANY advice or insight would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks!
