I could have stayed all day but my dumb family wanted to "see more of the city" and "have lunch." Bah.

Me: [birds chirping] Hello? Is this thing on?

You: [more silence, the birds have stopped chirping]

Me: [dusting off knees, shoulders] Yeah, I didn't like them anyway. And those borders suck. Boring stuff, been done before. I was just testing you. Whatever.

Hey, its Labor Day, just looking and relaxing.....

Love the work overall, and I like the processing in general particularly for the subject. I like the framing of the #2, I think you got just the right amount of info to set the stage without extraneous info in the frame.

#3 is again great composition, but his face is a bit blown out. If you shot RAW and can capture a touch more detail in the skin it would be great.

I really like the diagonal line of lanterns in #4, but again the awning above is blown and a bit distracting. If it is white, as it appears, may be next to impossible to capture it with any detail.

The last one being horizontal almost feels like it is constraining a vertical subject, as opposed to #1 that works with the composition. Almost like I am looking out a porthole and wished I had a picture window. Maybe a vertical that captured some street action would be neat?

Good stuff. I liked your family road trip pics and look forward to seeing more. You have the guts to do what I keep wishing to, good luck and keep going for it. thumb.gif
