Thanks! Those were my first shots of bikes in action and the first handfull of shots on the new camera. I was thinking to use one for the action entry but to tell the truth, the series is nice but I'm not sure any one pic is up to submitting. :(

Excellent! Nice first race to be shooting. Outstanding job tracking the fast moving action - I believe that's not an easy feat. What glass were you using?

I was using the 100-400L IS set at 275mm with a shutter speed of 1/320th. Shortly after this, I upped the ISO from 200 to 400 and set the camera to shutter priority 1/800. I'll remember to do that at the next race.

The gallery with web-sized images can be seen at http://www.iisc.com/NHIS040620 There were more shots in that sequence than I put here.
