AH!! It looks worthy of the L though :): I asked because I have the 100-400L and am constantly blown away by the results from that lens (when I don't manage to get in its way and trash the shot :):)

That is the lens that I used here:

    http://dgrin.com/showthread.php?t=17730

some of you may have already seen those photos, so don't rush over if you have. They are the beach shore bird shots that I took Tues and posted for yesterday. But I thought it was interesting. Great lens, great. I will forever be in John Mueller's debt..............

Great detail windoze! The bird is good, but the bird seed, that lens can really see!

And you took a wonderful shot. I saw it yesterday, you had not finished putting up the cardinal (s). There was one then. I love those birds.

thanks for sharing your own bird, windoze,

How many photographers does it take to change a light bulb? 50. One to change the bulb, and forty-nine to say, "I could have done that better!"

    Very nice work Troy thumb.gifthumb.gif

It's nice to have a friend who will pose for you on cue. Are you sure that isn't a stuffed cardinal?....Laughing.gif

He sure is beautiful. Man if I ever saw a bird so red fly by, I'd crash my car while craning my neck to follow it...Laughing.gif I almost do that with hawks and herons as it is, and they are drab by comparison rolleyes1.gif

    Thanks for sharing,
