I cant use the whole black theme, so instead I use the "whitewash" theme. To me, the whitewash theme is the 'accessible' theme because it is normal high contrast black text on white background.
The first problem I am having is that when people change the color of there text in there post, it can be impossible to read certain colors, like if a person changes the text to white, it shows up normal to poeple looking at the black theme, but the text wont show up at all to people using the white theme!
Here is a example thread, I cant read the text from the OP in this thread at all
http://www.dgrin.com/showthread.php?t=177540

A second issue, is that with the whitewash, the reply box is still the default black theme, so if you dont like the black theme (or have trouble with it) you still got to use the black theme to reply. If I use the "sand" or "Ivory" themes, you get the white reply box, but then the text is soft/low contrast

If those two things were fixed, whitewash would be perfect (in my opinion)

thing to be fixed (1) is not a thing that we can fix. It is a general problem, not specific to whitewash. People changing font-colors usually means trouble in some style, so we discourage it, but can not prevent it. If you see a problem with a font-color you can always put a request to change it in the 'place requests to moderators here' thread, and we'll fix it. I fixed it in the thread you linked as well.

thing to be fixed (2) I see as well. We'll look in to it.
