I am pleased to see Greg put forth this challenge and even more pleased to see a very wide breadth of work being submitted. It goes to show how many talented artists we have in our midst. Very enjoyable to watch.

Sean, you have demonstrated once again my lack of imagination. This is why I keep coming back. You have opened a door in my brain. Huge thanks!

Here is my first attempt.


First steps were to brighten, convert to BW, sharpen. Then I started playing with filters - poster edges, plastic wrap. Tweaked the brightness/contrast. Finally added liquefy to create the wave.

Many thanks to Greg - I am loving this challenge with all of the creativity it brings out.

Here I am at the 11th hour again! Since I asked for this challenge, I figured i'd better at least try this one!

Awesome entries. Lots of great info.

Here's my try! It's simple, but forced me to explore layers a bit. It forced me to go out this weekend and take a photo to work with.
