SOLD

I have a superb copy of the 24-70.
I'm kind of anal about good copies and the person I bought it from (tabrink--Tom Brink) is even more anal than me. http://www.fredmiranda.com/forum/topic/650716/0#5787831
I rarely use the 24-70 because I tend to go light with my Tamron 28-75.
It seems I "save" the 24-70 for once a year group shots of my daughter's gymnastics team.
Since I stop down to 5.6 to 8 and never need the wider focal length, the 28-75 can cover that shoot as well.

Here's a gallery of test shots on a D3 (43" distance to subject and no sharpening in camera and no PP): http://gtikeda.zenfolio.com/p508618860

The lens is a USA model in Mint condition with box and all things originally included therein.
B&H sales receipt and warranty docs are also included.
The lens has never been registered with Nikon.
Front glass has always been covered by a filter.
Some minor scratches on the inside portion of the hood
Reduced to $1450 shipped.

I would rather see how it did with the gymnastic stuff for actual in real world evaluations.

I'm kind of cautious about posting images of other people's children on the internet.
I can send you samples if you're interested in the lens.

I can tell you this is by far the fastest AF lens I have used. The images are always tact sharp. This is my favorite lens and it never comes off the camera. Any buyers considering this lens proceed without worries!

15524779-Ti.gif You'll be hard pressed to find a better price on this lens in decent condition. And this lens is worth every penny.

It's made me put down my 11-16 and I didn't think any lens would be able to do that. thumb.gif

I've noticed a similar result with my Sigma 10-20!

Are there different versions of this lens available? You know, ED, G, DX, etc.? If so, which version is this one?

There's only one version of the Nikon 24-70.
