sunflower patch

Pics from a huge sunflower patch in Pittsford NY. My guess is about six acres. Wasn't sure if I should post here or in "Other Cool Shots", but I've seen other sunflower posts in Landscapes, so here you go!

Thank you all! I'm glad you liked them. Everything was shot within the hour before sunset. Great light, for sure.

I also really like #2 and #4.

I'm a sucker for sunflower pics. Until two months ago I lived where sunflowers don't grow, but now I've moved to an area with sunflowers in abundance and hope to get something as cool as yours.

Thanks again! #1 is three exposures blended together and tweaked in Lightroom. Very heavy curve adjustments on that one. I don't have a gradient ND filter, so that was the only way to get the sunflowers exposed properly without blowing out the sunset.

Very nice series. Faves are 1 and 4. Had the same question regarding #1, so thanks for answering.

Gosh....I really like #1.
I think the horizon might need to be leveled off a bit.
#4 pops for me as well.

I agree that a level horizon is crucial when water meets sky. But in this case, the camera was level and the treeline wasn't, so I left it alone.

That was indeed the challenge. The obvious shot was the first one. For the rest of the shots, I tried to make a sunflower not just look like the same sunflower over and over. We've all seen that already. I'm glad you can appreciate the angles.
