Hi Guys: Do you have any suggestions on the following:

1. My domain name www.WordsmithsProject.com is no longer pointing to www.wordsmithsproject.smugmug.com. So, my clients can't find it. What do I do to get it back to the way it was working?

2. On www.pixels.smugmug.com, I still don't have the controls back in my galleries. How do I get them back?

Hi Sally,

1) I just looked up your domain WordsmithsProject.com and it doesn't have the correct DNS settings. That's why it's not going to your SmugMug site. If you'll write the help desk at help@smugmug.com and add ATTN: Nick in the subject line I can help you get this fixed. if you'd like to try to fix it on your own there are instructions here: http://wiki.smugmug.net/display/SmugMug/CNAME+Custom+Domain+Name+Help. But I'd recommend emailing me so I can help you with it.

2) It sounds like you're logged in to wordsmithsproject.smugmug.com when you're trying to administer pixels.smugmug.com. Is there a link at the top of the page that says My Homepage? When you click that what site does it take you to? When you have multiple accounts is best to use two different browsers or clear your cookies when you're done with one account. Using two browsers, Firefox and Safari, not just two windows in the same browser, will help keep the cookies straight.

No, I'm not logged into Wordsmiths when I'm trying to edit pixels.smugmug.com. I'm very careful about that, and I just double-checked.

The galleries www.pixels.smugmug.com have lost their control buttons, when I'm logged in, trying to edit the site. The homepage is correct, the galleries are simply refusing to let me in.

And, thanks for the offer on the doman problem with WordsmithsProject. I'll send the email.

I hope you can help me with the pixels.smugmug problem too.

Are the admin buttons still missing for you in the galleries? Is it happening in all your galleries or only certain ones? Can you please log into pixels.smugmug.com first and then click the first link and tell me if the buttons show up any different than the second link?
