Transient Stream

The close passage of Hurricane Earl gave me chance shoot a stream off the side of Caddilac Mountain in ANP, there offten is no water running in here you have to time the hike after a big rain. I'm not sure about these shots and any C&C would be greatly appreciated, thanks for checking them out.

#1 this is actually at an intersection of two trails, 1 heads right out of the frame, the other is straight up the cascade past the tree.

    The Gorge Trail is one of my favorite trails in Acadia. Looks like you got it nice and full. I like the smoothness of the water in your photos. Did you get any photos of Earl's wrath on the coast, I bet Thunder Hole was thundering!!

    Thanks for the comment. The gorge is in awsome even with no water. I checked out the coast but it was really dissapointing. for such a close pass from a storm like that there was really very little in the way of surf, last year when Hurricane Bill passed buy the shore looked like this...

    comparativly speaking Earl was nothing as far as the seas were concenrned.
