Last weekend I had a chance to work with lovely Lury.
She's an "artist model" by one of her trades, so she's fairly comfortable with her sleek, all-natural body.
However, she never shot "in the nude" before.
I made sure her first experience was a pleasant one ;-)

#1: Dgrin, meet Lury:

#2: As a trained model she's pretty good at following directions:

#3: We started with "static" poses, i.e. her "comfort zone":

#4: Some of those she's suggested herself:

#5: Once we had established a rapport, we shifted to a more dynamic poses (impossible/difficult to hold for more than a few seconds):

#6: I could not pass on the opportunity of adding a few composites to my "Imperfect Mirror Project" (IMP:-) series ;-)

#7: And in reverse...:

#8: "Menage a trois" ;-)

#9: OK, this may be a bit overboard, but I kinda like doing this..
It's tentively called "Coming Out":

#10: PLM Series: Icarus

#11: PLM Series: Howling

#12: It was one of those "heat wave" days, so it was great to finish the shoot in the pool:

Enjoy! C&C is welcome!

#10 is one of my favorite shots EVER from you, Nik. One could perhaps argue that the clipped fingertips on CR should be recovered with recropping if that's possible, but even if not... this is a gorgeous, gorgeous shot. It has that early Hollywood feel to it, and I love it. It's so funny that I should hit on this thread immediately after finding my "Masters of Starlight" book, so I was (literally) just looking through old Hollywood portraits!

    Thank you!iloveyou.gif
To my utmost dismay and shame I didn't even notice the chopped off fingers :cry :bash
I think I have them in the original though, so recropping shall not be a tough task..headscratch.gif

Actually, I'd loosen up the widthwise crop as much as possible - because her hands aren't in the circle of the PLM, it actually took me a couple of seconds to see the subtle lighting on them - on reflection (no pun intended) I actually LIKE that the hands aren't in the sphere (since that shot has been done many times before), but I would love just a teensy bit more airspace around the hands to draw my attention to them "on purpose".

    I iloveyou.gif this shot

    Yep, lime green :-)

OK, there were a few more pixels on the right, so I added those, as a well as couple of touchups. Hope it makes it better, not worse. Refresh your browser to see the new version.
BTW, it's funny that you like it the most and the original file name is IMG_6666... talk about Numerology mwink.gifrofl

Visited OMP to check what's going on and was pleasantly surprised to see my #2 from this post showcased (in Lury's profile, which is fine since it shows in mine, too:-):ivar
