What's keeping me from loving smugmug

I've been torn between zenfolio and smugmug and I have been evaluating both lately. I am drawn to how well smugmug is kept up and their constant addition of new features, slick interface and now default integration with lgihtroom 3. I am however a little disappointed in a few very important features that are lacking.
-No ability for custom products
This is something that I really require and would imagine many others do as well. Lets say that you offer retouching on an as per image basis, wouldn't it be nice to have a little drop down box or custom product that allowed a user to chose 'retouching' as an option before they digital download or send a photo for print?
-Production delay
Although a nice feature, 7 days sometimes isn't enough. I like Zenfolio's ability to for me to approve something before it's processed for printing or digital download, this allows me to retouch an image before it goes off if they chose that as a specific option.
I have managed to hack my way around zenfolio to create somewhat of desirable situation but i hit a wall when it comes to prints. I am able to add a retouching processing fee as a custom product which applies to downloaded photos but when it comes to prints that is not an option and would be too complex to add 30 additional options w/ retouching attached to them as custom products.
The point is that these systems really do need a bit further customization before they can become all in one solutions. I for one would like to spend less time trying to create workarounds and more time promoting my services.
