New job has slowed me down a bit, but here are some that I managed to capture this weekend at Round 6 of the UK hovercraft racing championship.

As always c&c greatly appreciated.

I think #3 works the best. Maybe crop a bit. Eliminate most of #10.

And it needs to pop a bit more.

I like #3 as well and also agree that it needs to pop just a bit more. Maybe a little Curves or Levels adjustment? Maybe a B&W conversion to give is a more of a journalistic look?

I'd also try experimenting with a pano crop to see how that works.

What I like about it is how everyone's attention is on the starting signal lights.

#3. It doesn't have the distraction of all the extra people and the focus lies more on the 'signal'. Maybe get rid of that 4th hover craft sneaking in on the left.

I thought hover crafts only existed in 'Back to the Future'.

Hmmm, could have sworn I already responded to this one? Anyway, I like number 3 best here and agree on trying some of Linda's suggested processing.

It's definitely a spectacle. This was round 6 of the 2010 season (I think there are 7 altogether) plus the World champs were just a few weeks ago and were held about 10 miles from here but I couldn't get to see them.
