Big Dipper

I recently took this in Avon Colorado. I cleaned up the sky a bit so only the Big Dipper remains. This was a 25 second exposure.

    Don't be discouraged by the lack of response. There are a lot of great images on this forum and it's hard to comment on them all. Your image is hard to see and comes across (on my monitor) as rather dark. I'm not certain what is in the foreground and if it is worth bringing out. You could work on bringing the stars out a bit more and that would help. You obviously had a vision, keep shooting and posting.

    I've heard of plenty of photographers going way outta their way to capture more stars, but haven't heard of many cloning them out lol3.gif

    However it's pretty clear that it's the Big Dipper there, and I agree it'd be nice to see more of what's in the foreground. Otherwise a very cool idea!
