    I see blues, and reds, and GREENS!

    Very nice. Now you just need a subway car either entering or exiting the frame ... :D

    I like the left half of this a lot. Everyone is looking at the monitor and the woman on the escalator stands above and apart. The right half seems less interesting somehow.

    Cool photo.. Subways are a photographers treasure trove for great images.

    NYC Transit has some really funky lighting..

    Here's the crop. I've gone back to the original aspect ratio as well to keep the top and bottom elements in place.

    imo, i think the white background to the right you just croped out gave the image depth and also balanced light with the girl on top of the escalator... i dont see the point in croping it out, there is nothing there that disturb the image or composition.

    I think that the crop works really well. I love the guy staring into space looking straight ahead while so many around him seem tuned in to their environment.
