Yesterday I lost my dad, Kelsey Sr., to a heart attack. It was sudden and without warning to us. He was the greatest man I have ever known. I just want to spread the word to world as I know it. If you have any free time in your night tonight please have an extra drink, dance a little harder, take a few more photos, and celebrate life a little harder tonight.... Goodbye dad, we love you. 762283870_zYUaB-L.jpg

My condolences. I'm sorry to hear about this. A good friend just lost his dad in a very similar (sudden, no warning) way. It's very hard, and I wish the best for you and your family.

The best way I found to honor my father's memory was to let people know about him. Thanks for letting us know about your father. I'll definitely keep him in mind as I celebrate life.

    My deepest sympathies.

Even in the face of a tragic loss you find a positive way to celebrate a man's life. You honor your father's life by living your own so magnificently.

Little doubt he must have been very proud of you. God bless.

So sorry Kelsey - there's no doubt you made him proud through your adventures and love of life. Goes without saying since it's you, but thanks for sharing a great photo, even at this tough time.

I recall your story about how your father helped you with the rigging on your travel mobile several years ago, and find myself smiling at just how happy you were to tell me what a great man your father was to help you. He lives on in our hearts, prayers, memories and laughs!
