There's a lot I like about it. Nice composition and good use of color to set off the subject. I don't really like the vignetting. I think that the image is strong enough that you don't really need it.

I would clone out the surfers. They are a distraction, not really part of the story, but interesting enough to draw one's attention to them.

(I would also hope you got some good surfing shots that day)
