    Nice shot, but is that purple fringe effect on the tree, or is it actually purple?

    Yes it is a natural shade of purple. It's actually a bush, but the way our neighbors let it grow it looks like a tree rolleyes1.gif

    The berries have turned red now and the bush is full of sparrows eating them.
