A very chic and a little shabby wedding from June (19 pics)
I've been wanting to post from this job for a while, but time, time, time...
The bride made EVERYTHING for this wedding, it was really unreal how much personal detail she put into the wedding. She was one of those girls who is truly beautiful but very self critical, at first blush I didn't think we were a very good match. It all ended up great though and after a few edits and deletions from my cull she was happy and wrote a great review of me on wedding wire. Check it out!

yeah...so was her color palette. So I figured I'd incorporate it.
1: nice
2: good detail shot, like the angle / like her idea
3: a bit tilted, I'd try to fix that ... other than that .. I guess the direct sunlight is quite harsh, but there is nothing you could have done ... maybe shoot from a lower angle?
4: nice
5 (portrait of him): Tooo busy for my taste. The shelves just don't do it for me I would have done a tighter crop and maybe just taken some of the ships to the room behind him, that one looks more like a room I'd want to shoot in ...
6: Did you get any photos of her sitting in that chair? It looks like it has some great colors or maybe some of her at a window? I don't quite "understand" why she's just standing there and looking into a corner, if you know what I mean ..
7: (kids) Very cute
8: (him during the ceremony). nice catch
9: (aisle shot): great catch again!
10: What is he pointing at? is it raining?
11: cute.
12: great shot. Glad you can't see under their dresses
13: (brides maids in front of red house) Love it
14: LOVE
Not digging the dancing shots too much ... I think because of the settings, but I also don't like the angles & tight crops ... hmmm, can't point my finger on it.
BUT I do like this set ... kinda wish you would have posted more of the couple the bride looks veeeery pretty, but I can only see her face in 2 shots (sort of / not counting the aisle shot)
Thanks for sharing. The "shabby" in the title made my heart jump
LOVE #14!!!!!
And #12 is pretty amazing!
What a creative bride! I am so stealing that "sitting in a tree" tag idea... super cute!
Thanks,
Ya know on 3...I just posted it to show how much she did...and I didn't even notice it was tilted, if fact I think my second shooter might have shot it. I did other portraits of the groom...don't worry, but I liked the elements of this I see the criticism that it is busy.
