...is a favorite feeding area for the local Kildeer. They skitter along in search of those tasty grasshoppers.

    Good capture Ric. I would have placed him on the left of the frame looking out to the right.

    I disagree with Harry, the shadow is a great extra dimension to the picture. I'd even push this picture a little further with an s-curve. The bird is already dark as-is, so I'd be going for a more silhouette-ish picture :D
