i found that piece of grass quite disturbing (especially on #1)
I think you sharpened these pictures too much (esp. 1 & 3) am I right?
In this series the quality of the photo was secundary. This amazing scene was dificult to capture 'cause the damselflies and robber fly were in thick grass and they were not in same focal plain. I used f/11 to soften the contures of the grass, and i allso used focal stacking of 3 exposure (on every pticture, the focal point was on a different insect) so that i could get this shot.
