Every time I look at this picture it sends me back 40+ years. Me, my dad and a 2 poles with no bait.
It is a memory waiting for a child and their dad "Grab the Poles and ors son"
I'm 50+ he's 90 but the life lessons learned on ponds and a boat like this are priceless

I'm going to slide it over to landscapes and out of wildlife.

How many photographers does it take to change a light bulb? 50. One to change the bulb, and forty-nine to say, "I could have done that better!"

Beautiful photograph. I wish you would put on the info under your name where you are from.

And I wish I could remember how to tell you to do that, so that it shows up.

    Just a lovely shot,

Thanks All. It was taken not long after I got my camera and I was even lower on the learning curve then I am now, 10,000 exposures later and the top of that hill is still a ways offxzicon_smile_cool.gif

    Ginger,
I modified my profile for my current location. I'm new to the forum and still have to play with my profile and figure things out like how to quotene_nau.gif
Most shots in our gallery are of Northern CA. The boat was taken at a little resort in PA called "Daniels Top Of the Poconos" and yes it is as cheesy as the name implys. But the clan does a week every summer and trying to find a place for 35 to 40 people is a bit trying. When I told the owner I came from CA just to go to Daniels he nearly fell off his bar stoolyelrotflmao.gif
Had to miss this year was getting ready to relocate from CA to CT boy what a difference that last letter makeseek7.gif

Here is another shot of the same pond I like the reflections but does not the same emotional impact as the boat. I later cloned out the fishing float in the tree but did not repost. I think the angler was a little optomistic you could catch a shark with the size of the hook that was attached.
