Tornado Warning!

Some storms from Wednesday night that produced a tornado near Severy Ks. I used the Sigma 10-20mm at 10mm so it was much closer than it appears. The problem with the Sigma is that in the dark scenes it is a fine line between the lightning being exposed enough and over exposed. Click them for larger.
Any idea on a good but faster super wide for poorer folks like myself? I have eyed a 20mm 1.8 and a 30mm 1.4 Sigma.
The first has a tornado that was only visible due to the back lighting:
This was of course a blowout because it was much closer than it appears:
Sorry about the excessive watermarking but I like sharing the photos and got tired of having others use my shots as their own with a small one they could remove.
