That's all she wrote for tonight. Wasn't planning on shooting....but saw this bird sitting in the tree out back. Ran out and nailed 'em. I'll have to go back and do a better PP job of it. Some serious problems with that one. ISO 800 didn't help. Neither did the late evening low light. Things could be much worse. It could have been a darn night heron...AGAIN.

Now that meniscus on the other hand :cry j/k, I had surgery for a similar tear last year. Was up and walking in no time. Arthroscopic surgery is truly amazing, 20 yrs ago a repair like that would have required an open procedure and a very long recovery.
