Smug iPad app not refreshing

Loving the iPad app, but last night I removed a bunch of old galleries and the iPad app doesn't refresh it's memory even though I've told it to forget everything it had saved. If I tell it to enter the now extinct galleries, it spins for a moment then quits. Is there a good way to reset it, short of me having to remove my account and reinstate it?

For the benefit of others, click the minus to take the account off then click the plus to re-connect to it. Worked fine.
