Very nice. The composition is pleasing and I really like that the light colors of the clothing of the boy on the left, the woman's bright skirt, and the light shirt of the boy on the right take our eyes through the picture from boy to boy.

Almost looks like the boy on the right is chained to the woman!

Love the way the light filters through the woman's hat and, while I think it might be a better photograph if you had gotten her whole head in the frame, I actually like it as is. Makes me focus more on the boys than I might do otherwise.

Funny, though, without your title I wouldn't have looked at the shoes at all.

I like it. There's a lot of power in this image. The boy on the left is my subject with the mother and brother providing a framework for interpretation. I also like that the earthquakes have lessened. You're getting better at the hip shots.

I like the shot and the angle. The story to me is the two kids being separated. Note how they are not holding hands -- the kids are being held -- likely separated for bickering. Like the cutoff of the woman's head.

Then the shoes add to the shot. And they are fine shoes -- but only on their feet, not mine...

The composition, angle and light works well. I like the light through the mother's hat and the crop of it. There's a strong feeling of who is in charge here and it isn't the kids. Truthfully, without the title I'd not have paid much attention to the shoes although I do agree that they're comfy.
