Birthday Party

For my grandson's birthday party, my daughter asked me to set up a "Photo Booth" to take pictures of the kids. She had a couple baskets of "costum-ey" clothes and props, which helped the kids get into the spirit of being photographed. Unfortunately the party was mid-day and the sun was brutal. I rigged a shade with a 42" 2 stop diffuser on a lightstand, and shot with an SB-800 with a Demb diffuser for fill. The result turned out OK, if a bit flat, I think. She's going to send a shot of each kid with the respective thank-you-note. Nice idea I thought. C&C welcome.

I think you did a fine job and the colors look fabulous.
    Given the circumstances...
Great idea for the thank you cards too :-)

Thank you ladies! Shooting kids is most assuredly NOT my strength, but I had fun.
