I really like this set. Works well in B&W. Lovely detail, and very evocative images. clap.gif

    Jenn,
I'm salivating here these are so good.

Wonderful storytelling with your short series.
I like each and everyshot, I want to say #2 is my favorite, makes me smile, because you know they are playing cards/gambling under that umbrella.

They are each evocative as has been said.

    Beautiful conversion.

love your first and second images xD, although the last one i think its better with cropping some ppl and leave it for just the running "little cute girl" :3

Wonderful set. I love #3, including the crop.

Really nice set of three! Conversions are spot on.

I like #1 best -- and by far. You have captured his (her?) emotion, which is downtrodden from the rain (and great having the raindrops showing).

#2 is a crackup. Reminds me how they make do with what they have in China. Here they would retreat inside and turn on the TV or head to a pizza parlor...

#3 captures the childhood joy of running in the rain. Surprised that mother has not put a kibosh to that already.

Is #1 actually riding a bike?

A scooter. The full poncho is a common site given the amount of rain we get sometimes. I haven't figured out why so many people remove the mirrors though. Maybe to avoid seeing the bus baring down from behind. :marlin

It gets a good laugh out of everyone that I show it too. I was "outed" shortly after getting the posted image, but the guys were so good humoured I took a couple of extra shots. No substantive post on these, just a couple of candids after having been "discovered".

Great series Jenn. Like everyone, #2 rocks the kazbah! I wouldn't change the crop on #3. The family huddled out of the rain makes the shot for me.
