Update setting profile not updating all galleries with that profile

Is there no way to update a gallery setting profile and have that profile automatically applied to all photos using that settings profile?

The profile is used to create new galleries. If you want to update multiple galleries, see "Need to change settings on lots of galleries?" on this help page - http://www.smugmug.com/help/picture-storage.

I'm not sure I understand - do you want to create gallery on upload and then apply a custom setting when you do this? Or is it something else?

Hi, I've got about a hundred galleries which when I uploaded I chose a quick setting profile I created called "family-private-print" and I've just discovered a setting within that quick setting profile I want to change, specifically the sort order should be set to filename and not shot date. I would prefer to update that quick setting profile once and have that update automatically pushed to all galleries using that quick setting profile.

Hi Bob! You cannot modify Quick Settings like this. You'll have to go to one of the galleries that is already set up. Then make the change to that gallery and save that as a new quick setting. You can then use that new Quick Setting to apply to all the other galleries. The Quick Setting will not automatically be applied to them, you'll need to manually apply it to them. You can click on "Apply Quick Setting to Multiple Galleries" in the gallery settings and then choose which galleries you'd like to apply the new quick setting to.

Thanks. Still unhappy the solution is to pick all the galleries and I want to add a vote for adding a feature as I previously described but cannot find this. I cannot be the only one disappointed by this oversight.

??? OK, maybe I missed something: I see it as a few clicks multiplied by the 100 galleries. No?
