Have been lurking for a couple of years, figured if I want to get better I better join in...just upgraded from a Rebel xti to a 7D. This is from one of the first shoots, this was for her 2nd birthday.

    Congratulations on the purchase of the 7D, that is a great bit of kit....
    This is a lovely portrait, perhaps a bit soft in focus (intentional?) but so cute!

    Yes, I agree about the softness (wish it were intentional). I thought it worked for this photo, giving it a dreamy look.
