Thumbnails not squaring

I didn't put this in "bugs" because I don't know if it is one. Some galleries I have that are set to "square thumbnails" have been set that way for a long time through gallery settings. But they aren't squaring the thumbs for new photos I put in recently. I added some that still weren't square after more than 24 hrs. That's not normal, right? I don't have that many square thumbs galleries & so am not adding as often to that type of gallery. But I'm pretty sure that in the past it only took an hour or so. Yes, I know I can go into tools & adjust them, but I shouldn't have to do that with every single new addition & I'm going to be adding to these galleries a lot. It's already time-consuming enough just adjusting the ones that don't end up being framed well. The gallery I linked in the earlier post has a mix also.... some collected, some copied. The copied ones aren't squaring.

when you copy it won't square unless you go to tools>many photos>adjust thumbnails and square 'em

Do the same thing in the first gallery you linked too.

Andy, I'd found what you said to be true-- that the thumbs weren't squaring when I copied them from another gallery. However, tonight they suddenly started squaring. I was doing the exact same type of move as I had the other day-- copying/moving from my unlisted archived galleries to a listed gallery... same galleries as before, actually. They very quickly squared on their own! This is good news to me, so I hope it stays that way. Do you think this was just an anomaly, or did it get fixed? I'll hope the latter!
