A walk through the Mossman Sugar Mill (eight images)

I'm not good a narratives, so I'm going to keep the text very short. Holidays in mid-June in the southern hemisphere isn't always the best idea, but we'd planned ahead to spend it in far north Queensland with our base in Port Douglas and then branch out from there. This series of images is from the Mossman Sugar Mill in Mossman Northern Queensland.

It's a combination of shots taken unattended walking around the grounds to an attended tour through the facility. I invariably lagged behind or ran ahead. Odds are that a lot of you have eaten sugar from Northern Queensland at some point..

That's the end of the narrative. Always interested in comments and critique. Hope you enjoy the tour.

    Did you make it to the mill? We were there for a Reef and Rainforest holiday, but I was sorely tempted to just shoot the cane fields. Alas, it didn't happen.
