Watermark problem

Why would my watermark not show up on some of my photos in a gallery that shows the watermark on other photos?

Are the images small? From the help page at http://www.smugmug.com/help/custom-watermark-protection:

We do not watermark photos whose longest side is equal to or less than 800 pixels because a display copy and the original are the same image.

tools>many photos>watermarking and select the photos that need it, then click 'watermark'

Easy enough. Thanks. I have the watermark applied to that gallery but I assume you have to watermark any photos added later seperately.
