Hey, I'm looking for a QUICK version of a generic arca-swiss plate for my IR G10 and future Olympus 4/3 camera.
Basically, like the Manfrotto 3157N / 200PL-14 RC2 Plate 1/4 - BUT for the Arca-Swiss system.
What I mean by 'quick', is one that can easily screw on/off (no hex wrenches needed!) like the Manfrotto:
Like those. I've searched but I'm NOT finding any which means custom plates for BOTH since the battery/card door is so awkwardly placed, I'd need custom plates/brackets in both circumstances. Which makes me want to cry.
sooo.... any ideas? anyone seen one? own one?
THANKS!

I haven't seen one like that either. There's not as much room in the arca-swiss clamps, and the ring could catch on safety stops in the clamps.
When you buy your plates, you may want to check that there is a second threaded female hole for attaching something like, say, a Black Rapid strap. And a loop for attaching a hand strap to the plate is also nice to have. Camdapter and RRS plates have these, at least for some models.
They have a fold out "D" ring, but nicer than the Manfroto ones and you can also use a screwdriver.
Also have one of these: http://cgi.ebay.com/2-x-50mm-QR-Lens-Plate-Quick-Release-Arca-Swiss-Compat-/200480201450?cmd=ViewItem&pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item2ead8d1aea
Again, both have the "D" rings, though the second listing above is not as "slick-looking" as the first listing.
Nam et ipsa scientia potestas est.
Ok here it is

I stand corrected. Hadn't seen those before.

The Giottos plates have a lift up ring for the camera mounting screw.
The plates fit on any Arca style system, such as Arca-Swiss, Graf/Studioball, Wimberley, Foba, etc. It does not however fit the Arca Swiss Flip-Lock.
There are several types of plates available:
