I really like the colors in this shot. The textures in the plant as well. I think the DOF may have been just a bit too narrow for this. The main part of the plant is still a bit soft.
I'm seeing a couple of strange almost smudge looking artifacts towards the bottom. I thought I had dirt on my monitor at first. I can't tell if these we in the shot or the result of some post processing.
I really like that picture.
I wish the center of the bloom was a little sharper, but I really like the effect of the shallow DOF along the stem and other leaves.

This is what I was trying to say. The bokeh is amazing, the DOF just cuts through the bloom leaving the center a bit soft. Still an awesome shot though!

I think the picture is awesome. I love how two areas of the flower came into focus.
Helvegr, that's a serious understatement. I only wanted the closed flower in focus. The stem was left OOF intentionally. Thanks for the input.
