This juv redtail was doiing his job cleaning up bolsa chica by removing a gopher. at first it had 2 other hawks that wanted to share but that was not going to happen. After a bit it made up it's mind that I was not going to do anything and let me have a few shots but would not eat so I walked away and came back in 20 min and got my few shots in and left it to finish. If it was an adult I do think it would have taken off and moved

Luck then experience if it was an adult I would have only a butt shotne_nau.gif and I saw the 2 hawks that wanted to share .I was the one as I walked up that made the 2 leave ,then I had my in and I waited with it until it mellowed a bit but would not eat so I walked away [no shot on earth is worth one animal missing a meal because of me] Then I came back and we ate and shoot :ivar thanks for the nice comment

Great Shot.......Yeah a lot of the hunting shows, archery ones, had to stop show the kill shot because viewers were complaining........at least Sweaty Ted was still showing the kill last time I watched:D
