    Love the textures in the first one, out of interest I took the liberty of doing a quick crop , let me know if you want me to delete....

    I really think that image works on any crop that includes 'some' in focus part of the leaf. I just happen to like the dagger shaped shadow. The second leaf might benefit from an increase in saturation but I really like the little hairs on the edge.
