Super Harvest Moon in DC - 9/23/10

About 60 photographers gathered on the lawn near the Iwo Jima Memorial to catch the moonrise. I met two new photographers (Neal & Chuck) and had a good time trading ideas with them. It was a fun night. Here's a photo of the crowd and two of my own shots from that event.

    Lot of equipment out there.

    Any Park Service police ask if you had a photo permit? lol

    Howdy,

    Neat to see all the Shooters gathering, like minds:D

    That last shot is very well done, lots of strength in the
    great lighting and composition, and I'd say waiting on the

    Moon was worth it.
