7d wireless flash grouping question
I've struggled with understanding this from the outset (why I keep using my ste2 which is just more straightforward!) but today I may need to use the addition of some fill from the built-in flash since I don't have a 3rd external to use.
My question is which ratio/setting do I use for:
- TWO external speedlights set to different outputs
PLUS
- popup flash dialled way down?
Despite going through the manual with the settigns I'm getting really confused and can't get it right. Help!

ETA: I think I see how to set it to get Flash A (one setting) : Flash B + popup (to another setting) which I guess could equal key+ two fills, but is there a way to have all three of them at different outputs? Furthermore, when you have A+B+C (or even Aext : B, C/popup) and want the popup to contribute... which letter group is it?
PS I swear I've read the manual (sitting here staring at it, in fact) - I'm just not understanding it! I'm sure it will be quite simple once the penny has dropped, but at the moment... :scratch
