Collect Photos - but allow duplicates?

I have created a Gallery to use only as a depository for images I can use in a Slideshow. I have been going from Gallery to Gallery and using 'Collect Photos' to copy the images into my Slideshow Gallery.
However it seems that any images with the same filename are being overwritten. How can I force this Gallery allow duplicate filenames when Collecting Photos in the same way I can allow duplicates when I upload new images?
