Nice work, I recently did a shoot for 2 students from UofA, mine were not nearly as nice as yours!! She looks stunning, good job!

Thank you all so much. Nothing better than a 50 on a dx camera!

Great shots I must agree on th portraits but.......

There's nothing better than a fifty on an FX body :D

I did notice a wee bit of a blemish like imperfection on her nose, left side, below the bridge on the bottom three that is not visible on the first one.

Thanks for pointing that out. I can't believe I missed it! Will have to go back and retouch just a tad more tomorrow, thanks again!

    She is lovely! thumb.gif
The lighting/exposure seems to be a bit overdone, there are no details on her forehead (and yes, my monitor is calibrated). ne_nau.gif

Yeah, may have gone a bit far in the retouching but I like the look, may tone it down a bit tomorrow when I touch up the bottom three, thanks for the input!

Lovely! I'd agree with Nik they could use a smidgen more contrast - even though that flat, even lighting is tres "in" these days, you could boost contrast a tad more. Also, I'd selectively give her eyes just a tiny bi more pop in the "batch of three" - they're beautiful, but I think you can bring our attention to them even more with a bit of dodging/burning/definition.

Really nice shots, though -loads of personality coming through! My favorite is the middle one of the "three" thumb.gif

Oh don't be so modest, I used the same on a FX.

Sorry, but all primes are better on FX. I hated my 50mm on DX.. It was just.. too zoomed in.

Lovely shots. But I agree with Nik/Diva... the lighting/editing is a tad too much. I would love to see some detail in her skin. These are close up.. you should see pores damnit! haha rolleyes1.gif
