Duck Vortex

To celebrate the first warm, sunny day we've had so far this spring, I took the camera and went for a walk along the local bike path. Bright sun on water does not make for ideal shooting conditions, but I tried anyway, and came up with this:

    Thanks :) I had a lot of fun watching the pair of ducks who had claimed this particular little pond. Seems it was bath time, and they were preening and splashing for a good half hour. Apart from swimming a few feet away when I first approached, they took no more notice of the idiot with the camera.
