I've seen this from time to time and am looking into the issue.
Thanks for taking the time to report this. I appreciate it.

Unlike your 10 seconds, I was seeing failures continue for longer. Sometimes refreshing the browser let me through. Sometimes the errors continued through several refreshes. I also tried different browsers, no change.

Sorry you lost a post.
We are looking into the problem. No estimate of when this will be fixed.

Thanks. I think we know what the problem is but are not 100% sure what causes it. Still looking.

Dog's working on it right now. Not dead. Just a little....scared at the moment
actually I think SM uses "flat cats" to power these forums and SM itself. Cripes never have I enountered a multi-million dollar service with so many freaking bugs and flat out failures.
Portfolio • Workshops • Facebook • Twitter
Its not my intention to diminish the effort and hard work of the volunteers for DGRIN...really, that is yeoman service and deserves a pat on the back for whatever they are allowed to do. My comments are directed at my opinion of the SM service as it has been for me in the two years I have been a customer.
If these boards are fully maintained by volunteers then hey never gonna hear me complain again...that's super of them. And if these folks need more tools to keep things running better...dang it go out and buy them!! Even it it's some of those special "donut" seat cushions to ease their discomfort!
I'm not sure how to take this. On the one hand, there's a compliment but on the other? What seems more like a backhanded compliment (the doughnut seat comment).
As Andy's mentioned, most of the forums are maintained by volunteers (of which I am one). I know things can be frustrating at times and even though we'd like to snap our fingers and fix something instantly, it doesn't always work out that way and it takes time to get to the bottom of things. And while spending money would be cool, it's not what's needed in this instance.
Thanks for your input.
I'm sorry. What's your point?
