I posted this on the whipping post and was whipped pretty good and then damned with faint praise. Still I'm in love with this image in a way I rarely am with my own photographs. I played with a few crops, but in the end I like the full complex/busy thing complete with wires, houses, and big sky.

So, anyway, I'm reposting, hoping for a wider audience and maybe a few second looks. Negative as well as positive feedback is sought and appreciated.
If not now, when?

I like this photo very much--it is very interesting. There are those who might feel that it is a bit to "busy" but I feel that it is kaledioscopic and very creative.

I really really like this picture and the whole concept of it! Was it taken through a window w\ reflections ?? ? lol I'm sitting here trying to figure out which objects are outside on the street and inside.. Very interesting, something to look at! -Jamie

this is key - do *you* like it? if so, that's the first hurdle. then, work on pleasing the public :D

this image has lots going for it, yes, plenty of action. it works, even with some of the distractions (wire..) to me, there's not one single focal point, and i think that's ok.

nice job, and a good image for i hope, lively discussion.

Thank you for looking into this shot. The window reflections overlay a second reality on the interior of the resturant. I have to admit that I didn't see all the elements at the time I shot it, but most of them. I was especially involved with trying to get the figure in the kitchen into the reflection of the lens. I only took one shot, though, and knew I had something I would like when I did it. Often, this kind of scene is destroyed by the very act of putting the camera to your eye and shooting. People see that and change and the scene is spoiled. I'm rarely quick enough, but I was in this case.

Great work...At first I thought you took 2 shots and layered them in PS. Then I realzied that it would have been tough bracketing without a pod.

Again, nice work and great job getting the guy in the kitchen.
