Suggestion: sync iPhoto/Aperture, etc. w/SmugMug

iPhoto 09 now offers built-in a service to sync an iPhoto album with Flickr; it is bi-directional: changes made at either end are sync'ed to the other.

I use SmugMugExport for uploads, which is very good, but offers no sync options.

Is SM too small to interest Apple in offering this?
Is there any other way to accomplish it?
