Motorcycle Racing

A couple of friends were doing a cross country race this weekend. I went down to get some shots. I started to experiment with really tight closeups and I got some nice results. I think the secret is to find a place on the course that will cause the riders to really slow down and then allows them to come right at you. I put myself on the far side of bridge, they had to almost stop before crossing the bridge so the auto-focus could keep up. I think these are the best of the day.

hmmm..... Perhaps the title is off.

The shots are nice. They are portraits of people dressed in motorcycle gear. They are well done.

But motorcycle racing images? nah.....

Great captures, love it when you can see 'the white's of their eyes' maybe a slight title change to 'Motorcycle Racers' ?
