Notes on the back of my print were not helpful

I guess this is a complaint. I ordered approximately 18 4x6 prints; they came today.

The legend printed on the prints' backs shows two lines, approximately 73 characters in all, ending with the first 12 characters of my file's name. Every print has the same legend. Thus, the legend helps SmugMug's processor identify the print job that the photo belongs to, if one happens to become lost. It doesn't help me match photos to files. (That's the complaint.)

Yes, the files' names all began the same. That made sense when I exported them from Lightroom, but I could have chosen differently.

The following is what I see as start of the second line of printing (followed by the first 12 characters of the file's name):

WWW_SMUGMUG_COM_SEP_18_2010_

Requests:

1. Put the entire file name on the back of the print. Otherwise,

2. When you do not print the entire file name, let me know how much will appear (only 12 characters), so that, if I care, I can prepare file names that conform.

    Hi Dick

Thanks for letting us know that custom backprinting is important to you. At the moment our Pro account holders do have the ability to set a custom backprinting message. For all others the backprinting is:

    "WWW_SMUGMUG_COM_MONTH_DAY_YEAR_FILENAME_JPG"

for a total of 40 characters.

    I hope that helps.
