The man in black fled across the desert, and the gunslinger followed.

For reference: Dark Tower. What do you guys think?

I REALLY like the picture. I'm wondering if the emphasis being on the gun kind of downplays the leather in the image?

Thanks. I hear you on the gun, though hopefully it doesn't take away, but rather complements :D But I guess we'll see.

I think a different comp might work maybe holster the gun and let us see more of the knife. Gun is taking away from the boots which has good detail. Does it have a leather sheath?

I hear you guys, if I get chance I will prolly reshoot this with the gun all the way in the holster. I just got seduced by all the detail on the revolver.

Great image, Pyro! I rather like the gun the way it is. Like you said, it complements the image. I really like the warm tones on the B&W.

Well, me too! It wouldn't take much of a redo, for me to want to order one! It is just very nicely thought out, and executed. I do think an angle favoring viewer right a tad might help it, but then you prob walked all around the thing! I say Holster it and re-post!

Just a thought. The etch work on the gun could be considered very lace-like.ne_nau.gif

Very cool. My favorite so far.

BTW, read the entire Dark Tower series a few years back. I heard they were going to make it into a movie series but not sure if that was true.

^^^Awesome! I wonder who will play the role of Roland? That will it make or break this movie. Too bad Clint is too old.

Wonderful image but I agree with Jenn - to me too, the photo says more gun than leather...

Gonna have to find the books tonight when I go into work at the library......
I love the composition and warm shade of b&w here......but, I agree, the gun is almost too distracting if the target thought is "Leather"...maybe because it's so darn shiny.....
I can smell the sagebrush when I look at this composition.
