After my last set got mixed reviews, I decided to go for a nice, wholesome portrait. I really like the way this one turned out.

    I would only prefer a darker BG + hairlight, but that's definitely a moot point/personal preference...headscratch.gif

    Thanks everyone. I'm glad I'm not just spinning my wheels and actually making some progress. It was much easier to just concentrate on lighting instead of worrying about posing.

    I ordered a light meter yesterday so can't wait to try some more with it. I think it will take a lot of the guess work out.

    Thanks Nik... I know I did pretty good when you comment. Yeah.. I also prefer the dark BG. Once I get the light meter, I will concentrate more on BG and using additional lights. I ordered some wireless triggers so that will give me the ability to use my speedlight which will give me 3 lights. I also found my reflector this morning so that gives me even more options.

    Can't wait to try some more. Also, may be getting some more "models". Not sure how much more my wife will put up with.
